Is it safe? Will these vibrations cause me more pain as the teeth shift? While the acceledent may sound weird or out of the ordinary, it’s an FDA-cleared class II medical device. This means that this device has been thoroughly checked and studied to make sure it is safe and reliable for use. In terms of pain, this device can decrease the level of discomfort during your treatment time whether it be braces or Invisalign. These micro vibrations are soft and cause no discomfort.

With this new device, we can monitor your tooth development every four to eight weeks when you come in for a check-up. By doing this, we can estimate how long your treatment should last and give you an approximate date for when you can finally ditch the brace face.
